Yesterday was a crazy day with my daughter’s braces coming off and then I broke my tooth in half while munching on dry Go Lean cereal and almonds. I didn’t get ANY work finished, as I was hoping to get my client’s galleries out by today but now they will be delayed until tomorrow.
It started off with going to the dentist last week with all four kids. Brooke’s dental hygienist Marie knew Brooke’s braces were coming off the following week and sweetly offered to polish them during her lunch break on Brooke’s big day. She is so awesome! When I took Brooke there after her braces came off yesterday, I showed Marie my broken tooth. Dr. Mazer came to look at it while he was heading out to lunch and suggests that I get worked in that afternoon. I come in later that day and he made me a new tooth. He is so GOOD that I had absolutely no pain other than a slight pinch when putting a needle in for novacaine. My tooth looks better than the old tooth.
My brother Dan is dentist but 15 hours away (too far to drive for a dental appointment), so he has given me advice over the years when searching for a dentist. He says to look for a state-of-the-art equipment, a dentist who does cancer check on neck/tongue area and to look for other credentials as well. Dr. Mazer met all of the criteria and also has an incredible staff, with very low turnover. I recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors. All four of my children have seen Dr. Mazer since they were little as I wasn’t impressed with our pediatric dentists. If you need a dentist, you will want to consider Dr. Mazer.
My daughter was there today to get a baby tooth pulled due to the permanent tooth going the wrong direction, which we saw in the x-ray. My eleven year old told me how Dr. Mazer did such a great job and told her exactly what was going to happen or what she would feel during the entire procedure. He called tonight to make sure she was feeling okay. I just think so highly of our family dentist!
